Regarding COVID-19

To limit the spread of COVID-19, several new policies at the Scully Center Facilities are in effect. Please review them below, prior to your scheduled experiment.

Limited Participant Population

  • Enrolled undergraduate and graduate students, postdocs, faculty, and staff, with permission to access University buildings can participate in human subjects research, either as a researcher and/or a participant.
  • Those who are not part of the PU community are considered Sponsored Visitors, and must complete a Scully Center Facilities Visitor Form to determine whether they may participate as a subject.
  • Researchers and research subjects who are part of the PU community must participate in the Princeton University asymptomatic testing program.
  • Please see the University DfR Guidance for Resuming Human Subjects Research for complete details.

Facility Entry Requirements

Please go over the following policies before your scheduled experiment. These policies apply to all participants, regardless of which facility you will be using. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your researcher.

  • If you develop any symptoms, or come in contact with a COVID-19 positive person before your arrival to the PNI building, you must not come in.
  • If you are a University community member and exhibit symptoms consistent with COVID-19 disease after your experiment, you must email University Health Services at communityhealth@princeton.edu.
  • If you are a Sponsored Visitor and test positive for COVID-19 up to 5 days after the experiment, you must contact your sponsored host (i.e. the researcher).
  • On the day of you scheduled session, if you are a University community member who is not vaccinated against COVID-19, you must complete this daily symptom tracker self assessment survey before entering campus: Symptom Tracker. This survey can also be found on the TigerSafe app.
